ConvaTec Aquacel Ag Foam Adhesive Dressing is an advanced wound care solution designed to provide protection, comfort, and effective healing. This silver-impregnated foam dressing combines Hydrofiber® technology with a soft polyurethane foam pad, creating an absorbent and skin-friendly dressing for moderate to highly exuding wounds.

The unique Hydrofiber® layer transforms into a gentle gel on contact with wound fluid, conforming closely to the wound bed. This maintains a moist wound environment, which supports faster healing and aids in gentle removal of non-viable tissue (autolytic debridement).

With ionic silver (1.2% w/w) integrated into the dressing, it offers powerful antimicrobial protection, helping to eliminate a wide range of wound bacteria and lowering the risk of infection. The waterproof film backing acts as a barrier against bacteria and viruses, shielding the wound from external contaminants.

The silicone adhesive border provides secure fixation, reduces skin trauma on removal, and ensures patient comfort. It can be used as both a primary or secondary dressing and may be cut to fit specific wound sizes and shapes.
