Hydrofera Blue Classic Wound Dressing
Hydrofera Blue Classic is a safe non-cytotoxic foam dressing for chronic and acute wounds. Less expensive than many silver foam dressings and is compatible with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), Growth factors and enzymatic debriders.
Hydrofera Blue® Classic improves epithelialisation while wicking exudate and debris from the wound bed. The result is a multifaceted, non-toxic healing environment that reduces bioburden. The poly-vinyl alcohol foam dressing contains gentian violet and methylene blue to manage bioburden.
Uses:
- Deep, tunnelling or shallow wounds
- Wounds with or without devitalized tissue/slough & debris
- Wounds with moderate to heavy exudate
- Wounds with suspected biofilm
- Wounds at high risk of infection.
